Training with MTC

We have lots of different sessions throughout the week for you to try and build into training programme, so find a schedule that works for you.

Whilst some of the sessions, like spin and track sessions are suitable for everyone of all abilities due to you working to time or on your own effort on a bike, we do have different swim sessions for you depending on your 100m swim time.

Within the description each swim session on Team Up or in the Schedule, you will see the turn around times for the lanes at that session. These are the times you should be able to do a 100m in and have some rest, at least 10 seconds. Pick the session that has the time that you can manage.

If you aren’t sure which session would be suitable then either come along to a session which you think is suitable and speak to the coach at the session. They will help you find the most appropriate level for you.  Alternatively, please email Tom using [email protected] and he will be happy to help you find the right first session for you.

It is possible to attend sessions at a lower level as long as you don’t affect the training of those that the session is aimed at. We do not recommend that you attend sessions aimed at a higher level than you are currently. However there may be times when a member of the coaching team suggests you give it a try for an occasional session to see how you find it.
